Our story
Every community is built by ordinary people doing honest work: the farmer who plants before sunrise, the builder raising a new home, the cook feeding a family, the guard who keeps the night watch so others can sleep.
Shield 1 began with a simple belief. When people are protected and when people have work, a community grows stronger. Safety lets a business open its doors. A steady job lets a parent pay school fees and plan for tomorrow.
So we do two things under one name. We protect homes, farms, offices and events. And we connect hardworking people, from laborers and cooks to skilled tradespeople and household staff, with the families and businesses who need them, treating both sides with fairness and respect.
We serve people of every background and every walk of life. For us, every job is dignified work, and every person we place carries our name and our promise to do right by you.
Our goal is to help our community succeed, and to play our part in building a safer, fairer and more hopeful South Sudan.
Protection for the community. Opportunity for its people.
Our standards
- On time, in uniform, wearing an ID badge
- Instructions agreed with you before the job starts
- Respectful, honest conduct on your property
- Any problem goes straight to the owner on WhatsApp
Common questions
Not here? Message us on WhatsApp and we will answer.
How do I hire from you?
Send us the job on WhatsApp or use the quote form. We confirm what we can supply and agree the price with you before anyone starts.
Can I hire for just one day?
Yes. We supply people for a single event, a few days, a season or a long-term post.
How is the fee decided?
It depends on the number of people, the type of work and the length of hire. You get a clear quote first.
Can I hire guards and workers together?
Yes. That is the reason we do both. One call covers security, cooks, laborers and day workers.
Do you provide armed guards or cash escort?
These services depend on licensing and approval from the authorities. Tell us about your site and we will say what we can offer.
Which areas do you cover?
We are based in Juba. Ask us about jobs in other locations and we will tell you what is possible.
How do I know your people are ours?
They wear a Shield 1 uniform and carry a numbered ID badge. If you are unsure, call us to confirm.
